I'm headed to Vegas soon and will be staying at the Worldmark Spencer Street -which I happen to prefer to the Worldmark mega complex LV Blvd. Has anyone stayed there lately? Is there wireless access yet? The last time I was there there was a computer with dial up access available in the office. Any improvements?

The "megacomplex" WM Las Vegas now has in-room wired internet delivered through a PowerLine converter with WiFi available in common areas (like the central pool/patio area). It was $2.95/day or $9.95 for the entire visit (10 day max) when I was there in May. There are also reports of the PH units having WiFi

Re: Worldmark Spencer Street > WiFi > Yes!

On this thread in the www.wmowners.com forum, Gary mentioned: "WM's Las Vegas/Spencer Street had free access within sight of the main office the last time I was there. (I was in a 1 BDRM across the parking lot from the office, and had a "good" signal) In and around the office and pool areas should be excellent reception areas."

If there isn't available service, you can go to the Clark County Library, 1401 Flamingo and use free internet on their computers for an hour each day. You don't have to be a library card holder to do this, hoiwever some branches only make reservations for card holders, so you may have to wait. I don't know if they offer wi-fi or not.
