Worldmark Pagosa Springs - 1 Bd Ptarmigan or 1Bd Village Pointe...Which is better?

Going to Worldmark Pagosa Springs in April, if you had to choose between a 1 Bd at Ptarmigan or a 1Bd at Village Pointe, which one would you pick and why?

Also, does one have better views than the other?

Ptarmigan is all ground level units; Village Pointe are 2 story buildings. both have been completely renovated within the last 2 years.

For some reason, people go crazy over "lake" views. Ptarmigan does not have lake views; Village Pointe is 50/50 chance of lake view.

I prefer the gas fireplace in Ptarmigan 1 bedroom units 7201-7210 (golf course views, no fireplace in "1 BR Suite units") during this time of year versus lake views at Village Pointe.

Book whichever appeals to you, then call the resort about a week before arrival to request what you want; i.e. upper or lower level lake view if you booked Village Pointe, or "any unit 7201-7210" if you reserved a Ptarmigan unit.
