Warning. Wishful thinking follows. Just curious if other had similar thoughts

Could this possibly be a step towards being able book online. It seems all changes made in past year have made 2 systems more similar with rules could an alignment of some sort be happening.

I asked this question of a sales rep recently, within the last 6 months at least and was told no. They haven't seemed to make the new site very functional just with WM so I suspect this is so.

Looking at Facebook posts on Worldmark site and my sister in laws recent update something has to be up. They are sending surveys about travel share benefits which seem to match wyndhams and also announced possible name changes for their program. To Bronze Silver Gold and Platinum. If nothing else they are aligning the 2 clubs to work the same. Has anyone else seen something or heard about this. My sister in law was told of course at a presentation that a merge was coming and if she owned Wyndham she would get a conversion rate of 40 to 1 For no fee. I hate sales but there are a lot of clues here.

Long term yes - this is the intention. At the last onsite CWP owners meeting in November 2019 in Austin- this question was explicitly asked to the COO (Geoff Richards) and he said that the current Club Pass call-in was step one - and that eventually once the back office and front office websites allowed for the capability for online booking - Club Pass would be something we could process via the website system. I do want to be clear that I don't believe we'll ever see an actual merging of the two disparate timeshare systems (Worldmark and CWP) - as the trusts would require both sets of memberships to vote in the affirmative on such a combination - and I doubt the owners within each system would vote to approve such a measure - this was also something Geoff Richards explicitly said when answering this same Q&A inquiry. The best we can hope for would be for the websites to allow Club Pass online availability searches and reservations. It would be really nice for example, if the Worldmark resorts that currently appear in CWP availability searches - indicated actual resort availability and not just a call-in number.
