There were very few details about this case released to the public. This is a developing story — we will continue to follow it and post more details as they become available.

Police to Gatlinburg resort: No safety concern after woman's death

GATLINBURG, TENN. - UPDATE July 31,2017: Authorities have released no new information Monday about the death of a woman at Mountain Loft Resort in Gatlinburg over the weekend.

While we do not know the circumstances of the woman's death, investigators have indicated to resort managers there is no cause for concern. Ada Gryzywna from Bluegreen Vacations, told 10News that investigators told the resort there was no reason to worry about the safety of staff or guests.

According to Ada Gryzywna from Bluegreen Vacations says this is the first incident she is aware of. Workers are not being advised to do anything different but are aware of the situation. The resort is working with guests and the family as the investigation continues.

Domestic or not...this is absolutely insane!

STAY AWAY FROM TENNESSEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think it is a big conspiracy, because one time I read a story on the internet where someone else in Tennessee died. Since this story came out, there have been many other reports of people dying in Tennessee. Dangerous place!!! DO NOT GO TO TENNESSEE!!!!

Not to start any rumors, but I heard that Kentucky might have been in on it as well.

I saw this last report, how strange.

Maybe she drank some illegally produced local alcohol. I've heard that is pretty common in Tennessee. I'm sure the government will soon be issuing an advisory to people planning to visit Tennessee.

I heard it's an SEC Cartel Conspiracy.

Was it the husband's girlfriend who did her lover's wife in with a knife .... after all, knives are women's common murder weapon after poisons.

Meh.... less funny now that we know the truth

Was the adjoining room part of their rental, or completely not part of their vacation? Weird.

Speaking of adjoining room. I once was in part of a lock off, opened the door not knowing it was to the adjoining room, able to walk right in, it was occupied. Once we were in a lock off, heard a lot of arguing next door and head the person talk about trying to get into our adjoining section. This was at two am

X3 Skier has it right! Apply the same logic used to evaluate Mexico to your evaluation of Tennessee. Better yet, apply your lack of concern for visiting Jamaica and the Bahamas (with horrific crimes which actually target tourists, rather than "tourists getting caught in the crossfire") and take a scenic tour of Oakland, Detroit, New Orleans, or Flint--or you could always tour the area a block off tourist-Orlando which is so bad the police won't go in without reinforcements.

Whoever said I was evaluating Tennessee. Some people sure jumped to conclusions. I was curious about the unusual circumstances and the only people sensationalizing it were people ASSuming things about other people's motives.

It seems that some peep could use a sense-of-humor injection.

Excuse me, perhaps you haven't read the Mexico thread. Sure sounds like the same person casting judgements on other people, and not trying to be humorous at all
