I have an exchange for the Divi Golf and Beach Resort next March (3/18 - 3/25). Booked outbound airfare on JetBlue almost as soon as I got my confirmation; return on JB was too rich for my blood so I instead booked a refundable Business Class ticket on AirTran. I frequently check my fares (especially with JB's liberal policy on giving credits when the fare drops). Just yesterday morning, I saw that the fare on JB for a n/s flight departing on the 26th was only $205. Was also able to book an additional night at the Divi for $203 including all taxes. The $110 credit I had in my TrueBlue account made this decision even easier.

In the end, it is cheaper for me to spend an extra day on Aruba then it would be to take a desirable flight back on the 25th. The 25th is also a Sunday, so I imagine I will save a lot of headache by departing on a Monday.
 
Then what is the "woe" about? It sounds like a win-win situation.
More time in Aruba :cheer: and lower airfare. :whoopie:
 
That was supposed to be a smiley face in the subject line, but I guess the code only works in the body of messages. But to be clear, I am quite happy with an extra day.
