WKORV-S Difference Between Studios

We are looking at WKORV-S and see two room types;

Studio Premium Villa, Deluxe
and
Studio Premium Villa

What is the difference between the two? The floor plans on Vistana.com only show the "Studio Premium Villa" as the unit that is part of the 2BR lock off. Is one better than the other? There is no floor plan for the Deluxe. I would think Deluxe is better, but with Vistana you never really know.

The major difference is that the "deluxe" studios have lanais; the "premium" ones do not (except ocean front).

I would avoid all of the island view units; too great a chance of a parking lot view.

The Deluxe units are the ones associated with the units at the ends of the buildings. In Bldg 2 and 3, those are the ocean front units. In Bldg. 4 they are either ocean view or Mountain View. Those studios have a nice lanai that the others don't have. I'm not sure if the studios of the center units are Deluxe, or just the studio part of the Deluxe corner units are designated that way.

Just the studios associated with the corner units are “deluxe.” This includes the corners of building 4, which are not oceanfront. A non deluxe oceanfront studio will be in the center, straight on to the ocean, with a nice lanai. There are also non-oceanfront, non-deluxe center units with nice lanais in building 4. As far as I know, getting one of them is just luck of the draw, as they are not a unique booking category.

“Deluxe” is a offered as a booking category, and it is displayed when you do a search with the villa finder - when available.

Thanks all. It looks like we just booked an OV Studio Premium Villa. We were going back and forth between the days we would be there and ended up for the dates we booked, it was all that was available. The Deluxe wasn't available for two nights though it would seem Deluxe is preferred since it would have a balcony. Oh well. We have other nights split between Nanea and North as well as a week at MOC. I suppose we will survive.

The OF Studio Premium also has a balcony. Those are the studios of the center OF units (non-Deluxe). They are true OF, whereas the Deluxe studios are actually on the side of the oceanfront end of building 2 and 3.

Don't step out onto the balcony then as it might be quite a shock Other than that I think you'll survive.
