WKORV(n) - ROFR exercised when?

Does anyone know when SVO has exercised their ROFR for WKORV or WKORV-N?

I don't think we have had any reports of that ever happening.

Never on any of ther resorts in the last 2-3 years from what I have heard. I do think that is Starwood's mistake though. I wonder if they ever will consider this as an option to keep prices from plummeting even more on resale. $1 for SBP Spring weeks!

I was looking at feedback on a PC seller on E-bay and the feedback from one buyer was "apparently SVO bought back the Timeshare". It was a Westin mission hills 2BR Gold for appx 6000 (I think).

There was a report here a while ago - I don't recall if it was for WKORV - not WKORV-N.

That was for a gold season too. I don't believe it. Although I have dealt with that seller and they seem pretty honest (and do a lot of business on eBay).

My bet is he got a better price outside eBay and sold it to that person instead.

I wouldn't take the other side of that bet.

I think it's a safe bet to assume that every word out of the mouth of anyone who makes their living selling timeshares is a outright lie.

Not all of the Starwood resorts even have ROFR. Kierland and St John do not have ROFR, I am not sure of any of the others.

We were also told this during our original sale.

When we inquired about it recently, we were told that the property needed to be completely sold out before they would be willing to buy any units back.
