This is just an odd item I thought worth posting. Because of differences in pronounciation between languages, there are sometimes unexpected difficulties. On my recent trip to Spain, I heard people talking about WEEE-FEE. That is, of course, WIFI to us in the USA- the Spanish pronounce the I as an E. Incidently, that makes it EBERIA. :D

I was just laughing at an English friend (who has been living in Germany and married to a German for the past 15 years) when she called it "Wifey". Apparently that's what it's called in Germany. :D
