Does anyone know any of the latest details on this resort? Last I heard they were trying to sell because of bankruptcy. Our last visit there was in 2011 and the place was not in good shape.

Last I noted the sheriff's sale had been stayed at the request of the bank. Since the bank was a multimillion dollar creditor, I suspect that they had lined up a buyer for the resort. However, I haven't seen info since then.
I really hope they can do something to put this resort back to the way it was. We loved going there and spending time in all the surrounding areas as well as in the main lodge. We missed Doc Holiday but he wasn't the only one who made this a great resort....I believe the area can sell itself, it's special. Last visit was awful in Willowbrook and the place was dead. Hoping for something better in the future. Good Luck Split Rock!

As one of the original (1981) RTU "owners" at Split Rock, it saddens me to hear how the resort has gone downhill. I loved the Westwood Villas and my ownership there!
