Willow Ridge Lodge Opening June 1 2020

Willow Ridge Lodge has been closed to new reservations, but is opening back up June 1, so we are driving there June 1. Called the resort today, all amenities will be closed, no pool, nothing. Which is fine, we'll do other things while there, mostly it's for a change of scenery and to burn some of the holding account points. Will be nice to just sit somewhere else for a week. We'll take food with us, will only stop for gas once. It's about as dangerous as the county we live in, so, shouldn't be any big deal. Last fun before surgery, when they'll make me get a virus test before they will do the surgery.

Just an FYI for anyone who might wonder about Branson since I've seen property threads on other resorts lately.

It looks like a lot of Branson is opening up over the next few weeks. Should be beautiful!

Just did a covid19 test today because I have cataract surgery on Monday. Man, that swab into your nose sure stings. Actually my left nostril still hurts from the swab.

Willowridge closing of all amenities is just like it has been for over a month here at Marriotts Koolina. Hopefully hot tubs will be open before the end of the month here. Look at those hot tubs for the past month and want to soak in them.

Am here at the "lodge". More people than I expected, maybe 20% occupancy. Not all rooms can be reserved per the front desk, many are closed off.

What is open:
Indoor pool and hot tub, 8am-4pm only with limits in area enforced by staff
Outdoor pool, 10am-6pm only with limits in area enforced by staff
Fitness center, 8am-4pm only only with limits in area enforced by staff (max 4)
BBQ Grills
Marketplace with limited hours, not clear what those are

Everything else closed.

Kind of peaceful as normally would be swamped in June.
