I own [redacted] at Four Seasons Aviara near San Diego. [2 consecutive weeks]

In spite of liking this resort and the area, I was thinking of selling because it is a long drive from our home. [redacted]

I think asking Tuggers if they think I might be able to sell 2 weeks to one owner. Or would I be able to easily sell one week to 2 owners and not get stuck with just one week by end of 2022 if I listed soon?

While I understand your situation, the post as written definitely seems like an advertisement. Perhaps you should just move this to the bargain weeks forum instead…

A legitimate question. The rest of the post is irrelevant...

Okay I will get rid of all the ad-like content in the post.

I think it’s likely there are others who will want the same advantages you see in owning two weeks.

I suggest reserving a peak week in advance.

Did you book back to back holiday weeks for 2022?
If so, I would sell two weeks together with your 2022 holiday weeks. The buyer can reimburse your 2022 MF.
If not, I suggest booking 2023 Easter week to give your buyer an additional holiday option.

FaceBook is another interesting place to put up resale weeks. You get lots of questions, but there are interested buyers who have no association with TUG

I usually book back to back holidays weeks. I own EOY odd weeks so my next opportunity to book would be in late 2022 for Christmas/New Years in 2023. Would that be too late to sell the weeks If I wait until after I book those weeks?

No, I’m suggesting that you sell earlier in the year with the first peak 2023 holiday week reserved.
For Aviara, the first peak 2023 holiday week is Easter. In 2023, Easter is on Sunday, April 9. Some schools have their Spring break scheduled for either the week before or after Easter.

This will give your buyer the option of either keeping your reserved peak holiday week (Easter) or canceling/rebooking some other holiday peak week later in the year (Thanksgiving and/or XMAS/NYE) when they take ownership.

At the 13 month mark, you can book either two concurrent Easter weeks or two consecutive weeks (that includes the weeks before/after Easter).

For example, Disney’s prime Spring break weeks in 2023 are:
For DVC California - March 31 thru April 15
For DVC Florida - April 2 thru April 9

Good idea. I will try that when the 13 month window opens.
