Has anyone that’s been recently to Harborside checked out the $25/day plan that the resort provides. Our daughter will be teleworking during part of the week and we want to make sure she’s able to.
We have T-mobile and would be happy to pay for an international pass but I’m not sure if that’s faster or slower.

The cellular WiFi providers in the Bahamas are BTC and Aliv
The both provide cellular WiFi Speeds of 20Mbps or better on Paradise Island
I am not sure who T-Mobile partners with to provide service on the international plan
But either should provide sufficient bandwidth for a single user to stream video or do a video call
you can search for more information on these carriers if you need more specifics

According to AI search, T-mobile partners with the same.

I used an Airalo e-sim at harbourside. It was $35 for 10GB which was enough for me to do the work I needed to get done while we were there.

This option looks very good
One important caveat
According to the Airalo website, an eSIM from another carrier will not work on a network "locked" device

What this means
Many people sign up with a carrier on a contract for a fixed period of time
In return, they purchase an expensive phone for a small payment during this fixed period
In this arrangement, the phone is locked to the carrier network during the contract period
After the contract period expires, a person can ask to have the phone unlocked and no longer be tied to the original carrier

So a person needs to be sure the phone is unlocked from their carrier to use the Airalo eSIM
