I responded to a Last Minute rental ad on TUGBBS for a week at the Manhattan Club.
I thought I was dealing with the owner but have received forms from a company called National Timeshare Help Center in Elkton VA. There is no identified timeshare unit - they state that Manhattan Club will allocate a unit to me. There will also be an additional resort fee of $15 per day. They have also asked me for credit card information.
Has anyone dealt with this company before? Are they reputable? Is this a scam for my credit card info?

The owner of that company is Cindy Townsend. She's been active in rentals for many years and is also a TUG member. I would simply recommend that you call and confirm the information you received is actually from that company.

I have done business with Cindy numerous times and would not hesitate to recommend her.

Cindy is Tugger, "NTHC." A long time TUG member.

I have rented from Cindy before. She came through for me on a need that was last minute.

Agreed

She has provided with me with accurate and expediant information.

Yes, you can definitely trust Cindy and this company. I have had several transactions with her over the years and all has been provided exactly as promised.

The Manhattan Club charges $15. per day for a studio unit and $25. for a one bedroom unless you are an owner using your own reserved week. Owners pay around $2,000. in annual maintenance fees for the same unit Cindy is renting to you for a fraction of that cost. Grab it and enjoy!
