Which Schools Have The Most Heisman Trophy Winners of All Time?

According to Google search:
USC has the most Heisman Trophy winners of all time with eight, followed by Ohio State, Oklahoma, and Notre Dame, who are tied for second with seven winners each.

USC's Heisman winners include:

Mike Garrett (1965)
O.J. Simpson (1968)
Charles White (1979)
Marcus Allen (1981)
Carson Palmer (2002)
Matt Leinart (2004)
Reggie Bush (2005) - His award was later vacated but has been reinstated.
Caleb Williams (2022).

That early/mid 2000s stretch was so much fun. Unfortunately I was no longer a student and back in Hawaii at that point. I just missed being around during that era and could only watch on TV instead of in person. I was, however, there to see Lou Holtz lose his last game as Notre Dame's head coach. That was awesome.

With all that said, I'm still mad that USC partnered with UCLA to blow up the PAC-XX (it was 10 when I was there) conference. It really has lowered my enthusiasm for watching the Trojans, even if they're playing the Bruins or the Irish.
