I have stayed at each of the following Hyatt properties. Here is how I would rank them:

1. Residences at Park Hyatt Beaver Creek - Loved being part of the large hotel with all the amenities like the gym, restaurant, bars, village etc. Ski in ski out side of the hill location. Yet, it still has a boutique feel to it with its own private elevator. Gorgeous appliances.

2. Hyatt Grand Aspen - Could easily have been number one, as the actual rooms are even nicer than Beaver Creek. Every bedroom has a fire place, every bathroom has a flat screen tv. Super high end appliances like "wolf" ranges. Great fire pit. Nice small gym. Nice pool. For Aspen, an amazing location close to down town and walking distance to the ski lift. Twice daily maid service.

3. High Sierra Lodge in Tahoe - Nice two bedroom units. Main hotel has good restaurants and gambling, and bigger pool. Hyatt beach in the Summer is awesome.

4. Coconut Plantation Bonita Springs - (is that the right name?) Great pool and lazy river, etc.

5. Hyatt Mainstreet Breckenridge - Love the town feeling of it. Right on Maggie's pond. Movie room is really cool. Three bedroom units are big.

6. Carmel - Amazing location. Everybody should go at least once. Nothing wrong with it, just not my favorite.

7. Mountain Lodge in Beaver Creek - Was probably very nice at one point. Now it seems dated. Especially compared to The Residences.

San Antonio - I have walked thru the San Antonio property, but not stayed there. Pool area looks neat. Little bar is good.

Key West Properties - Never been.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on the properties you have been to!

Thanks,
Dewey

Aspen, Beavercreek, Carmel, Tahoe

Vic (the GM) and his team at Aspen make it tops. The rooms are nicer and larger than Beavercreek, where Vail is a short drive away. You can't beat the views at Carmel and the Pac's Edge is outstanding - though a little pricey. The Stillwater spa at Tahoe and cocktails at the Lone Eagle Grill make it a very close number 4. Sedona would be my #5 for the hiking and golf. Guess it all depends on length of stay, and ease of travel. From Phoenix, all are pretty easy to get to.

Yep. You are right on. Especially about cocktails at the Lone Eagle Grill. I love that place! The rooms are nicer at Aspen, I just like being part of the Hyatt hotel a tiny bit better. Between Aspen and Beaver Creek, you just can't go wrong.
