We are at Marriott's Legends Edge this week and I moseyed on down and took a breive look around the Bluegreen Bayside Resort. When exactly did Bluegreen take over this property in Panama City? I recall going to it over 20 years ago when it was a Marriott hotel. I understand it was also a Holiday Inn at one point and apparently also a Sheraton as they have some signs around the property where the word Sheraton has been covered up.

It also looks like there are currently no pools available near the main building complex. They've tore them all out and they look to be doing extensive construction out there. Is the only available pool the one back in the Villas section that is kind of across the street? Also, how is the resort associated with the Reflexions Spa? I see in the Bayside Resort they reference the Reflexions Spa, but that appears to be a different building with its own fenced off pool. Can Bayside guests use the pool over there? Reading some TripAdvisor reviews, the Bayside Resort doesn't seem to be getting good reviews.

Its under upgrades/construction. The Spa is separate from Bluegreen/Hilton. Not sure about the Pool there.
