Since 1 old points = 1.6 new points, so was the HH conversion rate at 25.6:1 and 51.2:1 before?

( I am a bit confused as it might be case that 1:16 and 1:32 is based on old points so in new points, is it really only 1:10 and 1:20?)

It used to be 25:1 and 50:1 and the adjusted ratio was rounded to the nearest point in our favor.

Keep in mind that the value of HGVC points goes up around 5% per year due to annual increases in MF per point. HH points stay roughly fixed over time at around 0.5 cents per point (franchisees get reimbursed at 0.25 cents per point for award stays).

Hence the fixed conversion offered by HGVC is getting 5% less attractive each year.

Yeah going back 10 years, conversion might be such a good option.

HH points devalue also, so it's a double edged sword. The good thing is HH points don't expire like HGVC points if not used.

Depending on what you own, the price goes up roughly that much each year. The value of a week vacation stays about the same. But that’s just me.
