What title / closing company to use?

Hi everyone-

I did a quick search but came back without clear direction.

What is the consensus closing company to use for a resale purchase direct from another party? I need to get one lined up asap.

Somewhat answering my own question:

LT Transfers

Appears to be a recommended company

I have probably done 20 transfers with LT: They are Tuggers, they get high marks on TUG, and they are efficient and inexpensive - usually less than $250.

The last couple of resales I bought through a broker. They generally use Grand Vacations Title, which is a subsidiary of HGV. They do NYC. You might also try Resort Closings, Inc. They're also Tuggers, though they charge a bit more than LT.

Timeshareclosingsforless.com Suzie Bell. About the same price as LT expedited rate (+$100) and fast. Closed HGVC deed in 46 days.

I’m currently going through The Timeshare Group LLC for a W57th deed. I paid it all on a credit card.

LT won't accept credit card for final payment unless you pay extra 3%. Mailing checks adds time to closing.

I recall that timeshareclosingsforless and the one in Montana takes credit cards. But that was a few years ago. You get what you pay for.
