Disturbed did a surprisingly good cover of Simon and Garfunkle's 'Sounds of Silence'. Here is a live performance that includes a guest performer who does a great job singing the Art Garfunkle high harmonies. Does anyone know what movie he played a supporting role in?

Myles Kennedy....and if I'm not mistaken, it was the movie Rock Star in which he had a brief cameo appearance.
But sheesh, wasn't that like 20 years ago?
All I remember is that Wahlberg had long hair and looked funny......
Enjoyable movie though, with a good story.

Marty wins the prize. Here is the scene. Mark Wahlberg, Jennifer Aniston, and the guy who plaid the roadie were great in their roles. This is one of my favorite rock movies,

A lot of people might not know but all of the songs were performed by 'Steelheart'. Their lead vocalist was Milo Miljenko. His career was interrupted by a tragic accident where the light towers fell on him during a concert. Here he is performing the song at a later time and the video actually briefly shows the accident occurring. He has a great rock voice and unbelievable range.
