Unless they have changed them since last January, they are the baskets you put the coffee packets in.

I was there in April 2024. Basket filters, and no Nespresso.

standard issue. these really make mediocre coffee. i'm going to bring an aeropress on my next trip, new toy, think it will be worth it since i'm the only one who drinks coffee

That might even be generous. Occasionally, I will do a poor mans ice coffee using the in-room brewed coffee. I'm staying there for 7 nights later in the month and will likely drink some poor in room coffee and have an occasional Starbucks from the pantry area and also stop at a Dunkin that is a mile or so away. I'm traveling with a couple friends who also are coffee drinkers, so we'll all be looking to start the day off with a decent cup of brew.

If a place has a Keurig, I bring my own reusable pod and my Peet's coffee. Better for the environment as well.

Cheers.

What travel French press do you use? I use one at home occasionally, but NSFT.

it's a cheap plastic one we use in our rv, seemingly indestructible. it doesn't filter quite as fine as my countertop model but it does the trick.

i've read good things about the aeropress and an excited to try it.

I've brought one to Bahamas along with beans and a grinder. It worked out well. I also brought the metal reusable filters so that I didn't have to use the paper ones. I think the only issue is to make sure the coffee grinds are the right coarseness for the filter. So I recommend a few test runs at home.

I always bring my travel grinder, clever brew pour over, filters and a little digital scale to most of my trips longer than a couple days. I have a aeropress but havenā€™t used it in years, though for a single coffee drinker it would probably do.
