What exchange company can I consider for East Coast

I have been a member on RCI for years. I'm not looking for opinions on RCI. I am looking into what other exchange companies I can use for my Summit in Va. that will give me more places to travel by car from NY and SC. I'm running out of interesting places to drive to from the East Coast. I am a member of SFX, but they do not have much availability on the East Coast. Thanks

Well Ann-Marie, you could look at DAE. Even non members can view their inventory to see if you'd like to join. Membership is free then you have access to "Bonus Weeks."

The independent exchange companies are all tiny compared to RCI and II. You many not like RCI and II, but they have far more inventory than the small independents. Why? Because most timeshares are affiliated with RCI and II, and so the vast majority of the deposits go to RCI and II.

If you browse the East Coast sections in the TUG Timeshare ratings and reviews, it will show you if a resort is affiliated with RCI or II.

I have found that DAE only has crappy resorts on the East Coast. No luck with them so far. I just use our timeshare unit and rent to go to resorts I want to go to.

Trading places also has lots of VRI inventory along the east coast.

You can join there for free too.

I don't think that the other exchange companies are going to have "different" places than RCI. I think they are going to have the same locations just a lot less inventory especially during the summer months. If you don't have to travel during school holidays you may get more bang for your buck but not too much that's different.

I've had luck with RCI even during summer months in the mountains of NH, the mountains of Vermont, NC Mountains, Catskills, OC MD, VA Beach, Williamsburg, Outer banks, Myrtle Beach, Edisto, Smoky Mountains, Hilton Head, and Massanutten.

I've also had in May and September: Montauk and Cape Cod.
