Whales have arrived in Puerto Vallarta!

Today we visited the Marietta Islands from Puerto Vallarta. We saw whales on the way.
Although the whale watching tours don't start until December 8th, you might see some on the other water tours.
 
Thank you for this!! I am 10 days away from Cabo and have been hoping for early whale season.

We were in Cabo November 30-December 12,2013. While on the SunRider Sunset Dinner Cruise; we experienced the awesome sighting of 3 large whales!!!!

What an experience!!! BTW, the cruise date was December 11, 2013. We were previously told that the whale season didn't start until the end of December. What a treat & we didn't have to pay for a whale-watching excursion!!!!!:cheer:

December 16th in Cabo we saw one whale breaching for 20 minutes. Slapping his flukes and fins. Something we had never seen before. We had the binoculars but not the camera at the pool. Truly the experience of a lifetime.
 
Early Cabo Whale Sighting

Can't remember which day it was, but, one of days between Nov 6th and the 12th of 2013 we had a whale sighting while diving in Cabo. Just one that we were able to watch surface and dive 3 times.
 
Cabo whale watching

In Southern California the news has been reporting for weeks about the huge numbers of whale sightings, and they're heading south! I'll be in Cabo in two weeks and I'm looking forward to some great whale watching!!
