Good news in theory, but I don't trust WestJet to actually carry through with this. They keep cancelling their long-standing flights to St. Martin from YYZ and YUL. It's probably mostly due to lack of demand right now, but the cancellations don't help inspire confidence in booking. We gave up.

Good news in theory, but I don't trust WestJet to actually carry through with this. They keep cancelling their long-standing flights to St. Martin from YYZ and YUL. It's probably mostly due to lack of demand right now, but the cancellations don't help inspire confidence in booking. We gave up.

Not just flights to St. Martin but they have cancelled all flights to Belize for this whole winter from all points in Canada. After 3 cancelled flights we asked for and received a full refund from them and booked on an American carrier as we just didn't want to chance another cancellation by them. We refused the 2 yr travel credit as we are nervous they may not survive. Air Canada has also cut all flights to Belize and cut several flights to other areas where there were multiple flights a day.
