If you have a choice between the 2 Villas which one would you prefer and why? Sounds like a beauty contest question :)

Location Location Location. We own Sunset Bay and love it and use our time. It's basically ocean front. What's good about it is it's right there next to the pool and dock. Having kids that is important to us. Being scuba divers, we also don't have to haul scuba gear far and Low Key in Cruz Bay can come pick up at the dock. If you want to spend time on property there is limited need to walk. The units and kitchen are smaller compared to other phases and it is a bit of a walk to the entrance to get a safari taxi. Bay Vista is at the top of the hill, you will have to walk much more to/from the units.

For us it was villa size. Bay vista is much bigger than sunset bay 2BRs. It’s not a bad walk to the pool or the beach, and we have more space to spread out and to cook in the rooms.

MFs are also lower, but that wasn’t our driver here.

from the already 50/50 answers you can tell it really depends on what's important to you. I'd pick Sunset Bay as you're steps to basically everything on the resort - pool, beach, food, parking lot. But maybe less people around, higher view, larger unit, etc. is important to you. All 4 phases have their pros and cons.

Depends. Sunset Bay is a smaller unit next to pool and beach.
Bay Vista units are much bigger and some have views. If you don’t mind the walk I would say Bay Vista. I forget the building number but the first building is like a 1 min walk to the taxi stand which is really nice!

Really?? When did they start allowing this? I used to dive with Low Key and was always told we had to go to them in Cruz bay.(Our first dive with them Captain Bob picked us up at he Westin :)) My understanding was the Westin dock was off limits to non-Westin affiliated boats/activities. This will be awesome especially since our favorite Busy Bee is no longer in business so we will have to dive with either Low Key or Cruz Bay watersports.

They have to have a minimum of 4 Westin boat passengers to pick up from the Westin dock. You will want to arrange it ahead of time through Cruz Bay Watersports or Low Key and they will do it. Less than 4 and you’ll have to go into Cruz Bay.
