Westin Nanea [views?]

Just did a re-trade to Westin Nanea Ocean Resort Villas form Maui Ocean Club. I had a 1BR LK at Marriott and got a 2BR unit with fulll kitchen at Westin. Check in is tomorrow!!. Since I did this through Interval I know the view is subject to change. My exchange is into a DTOBR unit which I beleive is Resort View. This will be our first stay at the Westin but I have read some good reviews. The full kitchen works better for us because our total trip is 29 nights. Eating out that many times gets old!! Since we just got the trade today, I assume we will not get a very desirable room asignment. Do any of the Resort View rooms have a really bad view?
 
90% of Nanea is designated as "resort view." See the yellow area on the map below - the top of the map is the resort's driveway and parking garage, and the bottom is the beach and ocean.

I think the mostly undesirable resort view will be buildings 5 and 6, especially those that face toward the driveway and parking garage. Though I think a chunk of those are 1BR units.
 
We just returned from this resort two weeks ago we were in Kapa 2209. We had a peek-a-boo view of the ocean and the green space between the resort and WKORN. A higher floor in this building would have had an even better view.
 
No - the yellow units are a combination of one and 2 bdms. The units at the top of the page face the driveway & parking garage.

Thank you. I’ll go in with low expectations for room selection since the trade was just made today for tomorrow. Just happy we have a kitchen and 2nd BR. Now no one has to sleep on a sofa bed!

I hear it is a very nice quiet location.

Do they happen to have a shuttle to Whalers Village?

It's a great exchange! You will love it. I am hoping to get my sisters into the Westin Nanea in August, instead of MMO without kitchens, and they are sharing a one bedroom, so a two bedroom would be ideal.
