Hello!

I'm currently looking to book a stay at the Westin Maui Resort through Interval. I'm curious if anyone has experience with this process and can provide insight on additional costs such as taxes and parking fees. I contacted the Westin directly, and they mentioned that parking is free for owner's reservations. However, I'm interested in knowing if this applies to Interval bookings as well. Any information or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Upon checkout there is a daily tax, depends on unit size, probably in the $20-$45 per day. There is no self-parking cost but of course a daily parking fee if you use valet service

Just FYI in case you end up reserving, it's not the Westin Maui Resort you'll be staying at through II it's either the Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas, Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas North or Westin Nanea Ocean Resort Villas.

Excuse me for adding a question to this thread. We have friends living on Maui and they will come over to visit during our stay. Is it OK for them to park in the garage without a parking permit? If not, can I get a second parking permit during our stay?

Self-parking is free for guests. 2 cars are allowed if you have a 2 bdm. I would not say that "friends are visiting" If the size & occupancy of the villa allows it, I would say that they are joining you in your villa for a few days, thereby making them legit guests.

To avoid all this - they can park their car at the park directly next to the original resort: The Westin Ka'anapali Ocean Resort Villas (south.) See the park/parking lot at the bottom of the picture below - that is public parking.

The park closes ,gate locked at 7. We were staying at Hyatt one yr and parked there to listen to music at north and got locked in

Thanks! I’ll get two parking permits then. We have a 2BR and only 4 people actually stays in the unit.
