I am negotiating on a week at Westin Ka'anapali and the reservation is reserved for the fixed week for 2025. I was under the impression there were no fixed weeks at Westin Ka'anapali, so this is a new one on me. It's a week we would probably be there every year, perfect for us, so if it's fixed, Rick is okay moving forward.

I think Weeks 51 and 52 might be fixed?

When owners bought from the developer, they were offered the chance to fix the week and unit for a large premium. However, it can be used just like a floating week, as well. That doesn't mean that the contract is accurate, but a resort info letter from Vistana/Marriott should disclose that info.

At Westin St John in BV, CV and SB you had an option to buy a fixed week unit by paying 10% more. I am sure it was higher for holiday weeks. These units were fixed or could float in their season. At Sunset Bay, all the fixed weeks had a Friday check in.

We bought a fixed week resale as well. You can use it anytime. (except 51 & 52).

At Westin St John in BV, CV and SB you had an option to buy a fixed week unit by paying 10% more.
My recollection is that it was the same at WKORV. A 10% premium for a fixed week, and then 10% more if you also wanted a fixed unit. Weeks 51 and 52 were "special" pricing; I don't know about fixed units for those weeks.

I don't know how many fixed week units were actually sold for weeks 1-50; they are unicorns.
