Westgate Travel Package - Which Orlando Property

I stayed at Westgate on Turkey Lake Road in February and I purchased a travel package (I am regretting my purchase) which includes meals and drinks and I was told I can use it at any of their resorts. I tried for the Miami property and was told I could only use it there in the summer not in February 2014 when I want to go, otherwise I would have to pay an up charge of $500.

Since I don't want to spend any more money, I decided to choose Orlando. I then found out that that I can only stay in a B unit which is a studio - I was not told that at the time of purchase. We expected to at least be in a 1 bedroom.

Can anyone suggest which is the best Orlando property to select for this studio accommodation?

Your best bet would be the Lakes on Turkey Lake Dr where you stayed prior due to its central location.

We have stayed a number of times at the Westgate Town Center which is part of the Westgate Vacation Villas complex. We have stayed in a two bedroom that was made up of a 1 bedroom with a lock-off studio. The studio had a living area with sofa bed and mini kitchen. The bedroom had a queen bed. The bath was accessible from both rooms. You should call the resort to verify where your studio will be loacted.

The Villas and Town Center is a big complex with 14 pools. You can always find a pool that is at the perfect temperature. The resort is located about three miles North on I-4 off US-192. It is about 1.5 miles from the Disney Animal Kingdom. We would not own at Westgate but we believe it is an upscale rsort, better than it is rated.

I agree with eliotmark. The Westgate Town Center is very nice and it is their newest, but I very much doubt that you will get in there if you insist on a 1BR unit this February.
In February, the Westgate Marketing Department will most likely have this type unit tied up as they troll for new buyers or try to seduce old buyers into buying upgrades.
How many will be traveling? If it is just you and a significant "other", you will enjoy the "B" side of a new 2 BR Lockout at the Town Center.
An alternative is to wait. Your "Traveler Package" is a marketing gimmick to get you back and sell you a timeshare. The "package" should have an expiration date which should give you a year to plan your next vacation. Take your time and if you must have a 1 BR, you will get it. You are on their "hit list" and they will be accommodating if you are persistent.
I also have enjoyed the amenities at the Westgate Lakes, so I can recommend that location, especially if you enjoy Universal and the I Drive attractions.
