What an amazing place! Got exchange into unit 5222 and it was given to us. Everything is great. Staff is good. Little food place serves delishes food. Drinks are cheap and good. Had dinner at La Tratoria and enjoyed it. Renting a car for a week from Costco. It was closer to fly to Hawaii from California but decided to do Key West. So far so good. Any place should we go or good place to eat? We r here till Saturday!

Lots of very good restaurant establishments in Key West. Warning -- none of them are cheap.

A great place is Cafe Sole on Southard Street. Order their Hogfish (their specialty). Melts in your mouth!

Another great spot is La Trattoria on Duval Street. Fabulous Italian food!

Enjoy your visit.

A few in S and VA, a single resort in NC, MD, PA, and UT, plus Jamaica and the Bahamas
Did you fly into Key west or to Miami and take the drive down? How much was the car rental for the week? I am scheduled for that resort in April. I opted for the non stop to Miami. I am doing a Sunday-Saturday. Lowest price from a name brand car rental was $460 for an intermediate. It is a little less for an electric but I am unfamiliar and with the drive down from Miami not confident on that. If I go up to $510 I can make it a convertable or a Prius Hybrid. Still deciding on that.

We flew into Key West from Sacramento with one stop in Chicago-was very convenient. Rented Audi SUV for $495 through Costco so I think great price for luxury car by Alamo. We both own Tesla but didn’t want to worry about charging even though resort has Tesla charging. I was checking few times through Costco and got it when was lowest price available.
