WDW vs WKV MFs

A newbie question: Why are WDW MFs higher than WKV? Just curious if it’s primarily due to CA zip code instead of AZ zip code?

I’ve been waiting to see if someone else might have a more informed answer than me. We own both. I think it is the fact that WDW is in California. The taxes on our Arizona timeshares are all lower than California as are the maintenance fees.

Why would you think two different resorts, with different land value, staff salaries, insurance costs, and other distinctions be similar?

FWIW, even SDO and WKV have different MFs and they’re close to each other. Every resort has its own unique costs.
