I have two weeks at the Wave Crest resort in Del Mar, Ca, which is literally on the ocean above the Pacific...one of the nicest places in Southern California. We live nearby and this 520 SF Studio is complete with a murphy queen bed, full kitchen, living area and full bath. Occupancy is set for only two. We have been there at least six times over the years and the area is one of most wanted places to live in California. http://www.wavecrestresort.com
There is an adjoining grass park that extends for four to five blocks right above the sandy beach and blue Pacific. Two restaurants are part of the walk along the coast and both rank among the most popular in San Diego county. The public beach continues North in front of Bill Gates new home along with those of other celebrities less known. We once lived in Del Mar and the three blocks just east of the resort contain at least 10 to 15 interesting shops and cafes, specialty restaurants and places to see and be seen. Of course, almost any type of food and drink is a part of that walk. The La Auberge hotel is there along with the Del Mar Plaza. We know all the local places for fun so please just ask...Golf, Dine, and even a great walk about.
The train still goes by right next to the resort but slower today after the washout a few years ago. Walk South along the bluffs 150 feet above the beach for another adventure. Torrey Pines State Beach and Park can continue that outing with fantastic views and fitness trails....
The first week starts as soon as 11/19 but may be committed already but ask and I will let you know.
Thanks,
