Water Rationing in St. Thomas

Just read a story that water is being rationed in St. Thomas due to a problem with a piece of equipment at the water authority that is leaking. Cruise ships are advising their passengers not to go into town because of non working restrooms and lack of water in restaurants.

Anyone at Frenchman's Cove now have any reports???

WAPA, the water and power company, has had a 6+ week problem; although, I understand it is to be completely fixed by tomorrow.

There has been massive water rationing and very serious tourist issues. Restaurants have been having employees washing hands from carried buckets, etc.

It's been on www.virginislandsdailynews.com quite a bit lately.

We fly down Friday for three weeks. It is 73 here today but we don't have the beautiful clear water and mountains. Still folks think we crazy for leaving I am ready to live on island time!
