Wanting to rent with TRI WEST real estate, any concerns or advice? This is my first time renting too. Thanks a lot

I purchased a Marriott timeshare from them in 2007, I believe the agent's name was Greg, and I had a great experience with them. I think they've been around for a while.

The person I'm dealing with is VICCIE MAC and the company is based in LA, will this be the same company. I'm trying to rent a Hawaii resort.

I have dealt with Viccie on a sale a few years ago but not a rental. It went very well.

They've been around for at least 10 years. They had a "blue book" of timeshare values - seems funny now as just about everything can be had for a dollar!!

long time supporters of TUG as well.

Tri west is an exclusive broker of Four Seasons resort too.
They are reputable co. but check all the fees carefully if you rent something from them.
I almost purchased a Four Seasons from them several years ago, but I noticed that they charge higher closing cost, etc... than other brokers.
So it would not hurt if you check all the fees involved for the rental.

Will renters pay fees also? If a rental property is posted for
$500 for example, with brokers, it is exclusive of other fees?

If you pay only $500 as a renter, it would be fine, but once, I had to pay $150 broker fee when I rented through a broker ad (not Tri west). It was when I was a TS beginner and I thought $150 was not expensive as a broker fee, but now, I know that it was an unnessesary fee. That's why I told you to check if there is any extra fee.
