WDW has announced dates and ticket purchase times for Disney World Christmas events at most parks! And one "event" to do at WDW is free, use the buses to check out holiday decorations at DVC resorts. I have a feeling Instagram influencers will be telling people where the good ones are (I think they are all good), but like I said, traveling by bus to them is free. You can then grab some food or snacks at the DVC resort (extra cost obviously).

So, start planning! Even if you stay just a weekend, lots to do and see. Last year was kinda "muted" as we were coming out of the Pandemic, now WDW is going big-time!

Why just the DVC resorts? Why not the regular resorts too? They tend to have better decorations.

Is this something new for Disney charging for Disney World Christmas at WDW?

They’ve always charged for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party as well as the Jollywood Nights at DHS. No charge to visit resorts to see decorations, just be sure to arrive by Disney transportation if you don’t have an ADR or other reservation at the resort.

We always resort hopped to check out the holiday decorations at the DVC resorts. Easter, Halloween and Christmas. I know we hop to other non-dvc resorts sometimes for a meal. I am sure they decorate - perhaps not as much/elaborate? Don't recall.
