Walking the Reservation

Trying to wrap my head around 'walking the reservation'? So (if there's a three-day minimum) you reserve 2 days earlier to secure that first night. On the 3rd night you'd start adding a day each night at 12:00am EST to reach the end of your vacation? Then cancel the first two days? Am I missing something? Also: are there extra charges for changing the reservation each night??

For HGVC, you need 3 nights to begin with and then add a night each night as the club reservation window moves until you get the nights that you need. You don't necessarily need to remove any from the beginning unless you need to move that whole period to the actual time period that you want. You can modify for free.
