W57th AI speculative reservation, how late to change/cancel w/o fee

For those who have AI W57th owners, how close to the reservation date can you change or cancel a reservation without any fee or penalty?

There's no fee, but the standard rules about losing points still apply for cancellation.

OK thanks, so just the standard change rules, other than you didn't incur a reservation fee in the first place.

A reason I asked this is another question I have, namely about point buckets.

Lets say you owned at W57th, and reserved a 2 day 1 BR stay during the resort window with your bHC points, and then exactly 60 days till the start of your reservation, you see availability immediately before your 2 day stay (for example, 2 days before the start of your current reservation), could you change your reservation to add the 2 days using your HGVC points, since the 2 days are now in the club window (<=59 days)?

In the attached picture, assume the 2 days circled in blue were the ones you already reserved, and the 2 days before are the ones you want to add.

So, you have two days booked with bHC points and want to add two preceding days with HGVC points at the 60 day mark? In this case, I'd suggest not changing your existing reservation, but just making the other reservation as a separate booking. Then call W. 57th to have them "link" the two reservations. They don't formally do it,. but they can set it up so that you don't need to change rooms and also don't need to pay the short stay fee since the total stay is 4 nights. We've done similar.
