Vistana Villages vs Vistana Resort

Looking to spend some extra options we have at either one of these resorts. I've looked at all the reviews and all the threads. I'm leaning towards the Vistana Resort...but its crazy the different sides of opinions.

So which one is actually better? Would some just tell me! :)

Does anyone know when the renovations will be done? Sounds like they are doing some renovations to both resorts.

if you will be using options you will be staying in the lakes or cascades section which are lovely. i have stayed at both resorts and each one is great. of course to purchase i would only own at SVV.

Toss a coin. I own at SVV and love it, but used some leftover options at Vistana and I was really impressed. Very nice 1bdrm unit in Cascades. Good entertainment and fun crowd at a poolside bar one night. Vistana Resort might have more for kids in terms of playgrounds, etc. Easier to get lost in Vistana Resort.
