Vistana reservations - can anyone book online today?

I've tried multiple browsers and it keeps failing. It shows the unit I want, but then won't let me confirm. The "confirm guest" button just doesn't work.

Update: I was able to make the reservations on my iPhone.

We were able to book last night with no issues; same with the previous two Wednesday nights. Given the comments here and in other sites/social media posts, color me surprised.

Update: I was able to make the reservations on my iPhone.
I had that same problem tonight when trying to book WKORV OFD at 12 months out. My name was checked as the Guest, but the Confirm Guest button looked light blue, just like yours. Then I think the system kept the unit on hold and my OFD ownership was tied up, so I couldn't see availability again until the 10 minute hold timed out, and then I was able to see availability and book it, but what a lousy timestamp. The Guest Name section was more populated when the system worked, and it listed my Bonvoy number. Ridiculous how the system needs to spend time querying a database for that information, because it seems like that was what timed out and so the Confirm Guest button never turned darker blue.

Ken, did you use the app to book (I have never loaded it)? Did you have StarOptions or other ownership weeks that weren't tied up with the unit on hold/in limbo?

Curious what other owners are doing that is faster than waiting 10 minutes to retry the search. So annoyed that the system is so broken when I only need to book a few times a year and it never goes smoothly.

I did use the app but it simply opened a web browser to make the reservation. I used SOs and I did have much more than I needed for these reservations. I’m not sure I completed the reservations within the hold time, since I wasn’t in any hurry as I wasn’t booking exactly eight months out tho I would also have been quite frustrated, as you naturally were, if I had. Still, their IT issues continue and I’m becoming more and more disappointed with the service we receive.

I had same problem two weeks ago and lost the reservation. Same problem last week but discovered by refreshing the browser the button worked.

I tried that multiple times, along with a different browser. Didn’t help.
