The main thread is over in the Marriott forum (since I attended a MVC 'owners update'), but I'm wondering if any of you had been able (or at least offered) to retro Vistana weeks at a MVC sales presentation. Or conversely, been able (or offered) to enroll a MVC week at a Vistana presentation. TIA.

Yes to both....in the end I purchased a week in Spain (with MVC) and was able to enroll a combination of both Vistana weeks (Lagunamar and SDO) and a MVC week (Grand Chateau).

I retro-ed 3 Sheraton Flex Contracts and moved from Select to Presidential in Abound. Exactly what I wanted to do. 125K points bought on Ebay. Added 2k Marriott Points, Not cheap to do but exactly what I wanted and could afford it. As they say-You go around once!

There’s a member of my group who successfully enrolled her two Sheraton weeks by purchasing MVC Trust Points, and personally I was offered the ability to enroll one of my MMBR resale weeks while at Nanea, if I only bought a certain quantity of HomeOptions.

The word HomeOptions is obviously now a very bad word because Cheyenne at Westin Ka'anapali's presentation said the word sometime during our update six months ago, and then when I used the word, she said, "I never said HomeOptions." She said it very sarcastically. It was kind of rude. Rick and I both heard her say it, so she was definitely used to using that word and then denied it.

That’s what they are called with my Nanea ownership on my dashboard. The sales pitch is buy X HomeOptions to be able to book more nights or larger unit size. The minimum quantity they would sell me was 30k HomeOptions (if I recall). That was August 2024.
