Vistana app dead

The Vistana iOS (iPhone/iPad) app seems to be dead. For several days it’s been completely non-functional, it just displays an error message when you launch it. Not sure if this has happened before or if it’s on its way out.

The app is still touted on the Vistana web site, and it’s still available in the App Store and has even been updated somewhat recently. It just doesn’t work.

It’s working for me. Or at least I can see my upcoming reservations and account information.

Have you tried deleting and reinstalling?

(BTW, I’m still running iOS 17.7.2. I’ve read way too many reports of 18.X breaking apps to try it yet. If you’re on 18.X that might be the issue).

I have not tried deleting and reinstalling but will try that now. I AM using the latest iOS and so it's possible that's connected. I'll report back.

BTW, the symptom is that after launch, there's a short pause and then a message saying "An error occurred. Please try again." Dismissing the error box just stays forever on the splash screen.

Deleting and reinstalling allows me to try to sign into my account, but when I try to do so, I get the same error message as before. So the error must be related to signing in.

I can sign in on the web site without a problem. Hmmm.

It’s working for me just fine. iOS 18.1.1 if that matters.

At first, all I get is a Home Screen (image of a couple snorkeling off Ka'anapali beach in front of WKORV) but after about 2 minutes it goes right to my dashboard.
