Hi,

We're looking at going to Mexico next year. There are one bedroom units available at VDP-Cabo and VDP-Puerto Vallarta for our dates. We're pretty familiar with, and like both cities.

Last year, we stayed at VDP-Cabo--had a great time and a unit with a wonderful ocean view. Having an ocean view is pretty important to my husband. I understanding that nothing is guaranteed, but looking at the resort layouts for both on Google maps, it seems the odds of getting an ocean view is better at VDP-Cabo? It looks like VDP-PV has more buildings that are set further away from the beach. For those of you familiar with both resorts, would you let me know if this is correct?

Thanks!

Glorian

The better views at all of the UVC resorts are saved for owners. If your an owner or renting from an owner you should get a view of something. If your trading with RCI you may get mountain/city view. Either way the better views would be in Cabo. PV is a little crowed imo, because there are two resorts sharing the small beach.

If you read the tug reviews it seems that owners love the VDP and traders are not as happy.

The PV units are mostly in a U shape around the pool. You may have a pretty limited view of the ocean. I think the Cabo units all have an angle ocean view. Also the ocean at Cabo is more attractive.

Thanks to both of you--this confirms what I thought.
