Hi @winterski - I believe Vidanta plans to open the initial part of the Park this fall / 2023
I have recently received owner e-mails offering a $500 resort credit if we visit from July- early Nov. The e-mails include an invitation to attend a Park preview.

Do you own 3 contracts or 1 that has additional Park benefits ?

I upgraded with park admission perks. I also bought a Kingdom of the Sun timeshare that looks like the regular timeshare purchase at Vidanta, but is actually for only one week at Kingdom of the Sun in ten years.

I believe the contract you own lists one Registered Week - for Kingdom of the Sun.
I believe you can use your contract at Kingdom of the Sun multiple times. [ based on availability ] during the first 10 years ;and possibly beyond if renewed

Your contract can likely be renewed every 10 years for a payment [ probably at the cost of one MF / Usage Fee ]
The renewed contract likely lists the weeks as Residence Weeks or similar.
Your contract should have an internal exchange grid for usage [ Mayan Palace - Sea Garden & possibly Grand Mayan ]


In My Opinion : Vidanta hedged their bets regarding the future popularity of the Park as it opens and into the future.
(ie) If the Park becomes very popular they want to be able to have Vida Sales sell new contracts with Park access
This may not mean you have no access ; it simply means your access is based on availability in a smaller advanced reservation window.
[ Sort of like flying standby ]

You may wish to reread your contract & possibly call Vidanta reservations or Vidanta Member Services for clarity.

My opinion regarding Mexican resorts is only buy what been built and only buy resale if possible. Vidanta offered us a pre-sale for what they called the Space Luxxe, lol. An orbiting Grand Luxxe.

I have not used my Kingdom of the Sun. The contract states on the coloured sheet, 1 week in ten years instead of what in the past was one week per year for ten years. A Kingdom of the Sun week allows access to sister resorts like Sea Garden and Mayan Palace.

Is the 1 week in 10 years a registered week ?

In my opinion - 1 registered week in 10 years does not preclude using Kingdom of the Sun additional times.

i believe that booking availability only started in 2024
