Just visited both RM and NV and ate like a '@#$!' due to the resort credits offered during our stays.

Extended out credits even further in NV by using them to buy the meal coupons.

Worst meal: Hands down Azur in NV. By far the worst meal ever at a V resort, and one of the worst we've ever had anywhere. Early reservation, (a lot of empty tables at the beginning) but the 'event' lasted 2 hours and twenty minutes only because we simply got up and began walking to the elevator. No alcohol, and we ordered immediately whenever we were asked if we were ready. Chicken inedible, steak, a C+, and all overshadowed by the bad service. It was our last night there and we were using the dinner coupons, so what do you do? Any local establishment we would have been comped the whole meal along with a credit for next time.

This was not an 'our table' issue. Diners at numerous tables were beyond annoyed. This at a venue where we all have nothing else to due other that maybe go listen to some music.

Best meal: Tramonto at RM. (Tramonto at NV close behind). WOW! Great food, presentation, facilities, and even better service. Largest tip by % I have ever left.

Haven’t tried either Azur or Tramonto in NV or RM. Just not that interested in French or Italian when in Mexico. In NV, Epazote is my favorite fine dining; Quinto has a nicer location, but food isn’t as good. In RM, I kind of like the dinner at Joya for fine dining, but tend towards the Waves taco joint at Salum more.

Totally agree. Azur in NV was bad in October when we were there, small menu with bad service Azure in RM was awesome . I thought Tramonto was just OK. Good service tho. Quinto was very good with super service. Taco place was awesome. Over all wonderful vacation.

Last week of October at Riviera Maya;
Worst meal: Quinto - All 4 diners in our group complained that the steaks were barely above room temperature. My 12 oz. ribeye was maybe 3/8" thick with lots of fat

Best meal: Tramonto - Best veal scaloppini I've ever had

So interesting. Granted we have not been to a resort since Nov. of last year, but we have always found that Azur in NV was far superior to Azur in RM (food, service, etc.). Sad to hear that the quality has dropped. We absolutely loved Quinto in NV and had fantastic steaks (and a great view). Only at Quinto for breakfast in RM (which was really nice). Tramonto we always felt RM was fantastic and NV not nearly as good. Shame that there is not more consistency.
