Vidanta Resort Fees

Well, depending on when you last saw, they may have gone down from say, $950 for a 2 BR to like $450. although they now limit you to what, 1-4 rule and no guest certs any more.

I’m I reading it wrong with Interval World and RCI or did the resort fees go down on the Riveria Maya resorts?
yes but if you booked it before it went down the old rate still applies. RCI seems to be semi softening up on the the no guest cert policy and no consecutive/concurrent weeks but the fees go up even higher than before with a guest cert.

You can only confirm Vidanta once in a period of 3 years (applies per Anniversary Year). These rules apply to all Vidanta IDs (Rule by Total Group). This means RCI members can travel to any Vidanta ID only once every 3 years. Rules are verified by name and membership - violations will be canceled. This resort allows additional multiple or

consecutive units confirmed or guest certificate added however the resort fee that will apply for all additional units and/or guest certificate is: 450 USD per HOTEL 900 USD per 1BR 1,400 USD per 2BR This fee is per unit per reservation. This option does not exempt the 1 in 3 rule mentioned before. Multiple units require a guest certificate starting with the second unit

This RCI- Vidanta listed exception to the 1 in 3 - seems to be resort code specific and applies to the balance of 2023.
So far I have found it added to the Mayan Palace Rivera Maya(RCI- 6635) and Mayan Palace PV Marina (RCI-6634) locations

RCI is also currently running a promo on the exchange fee of $ 189 usd until Feb 28

*********
FYI / IMO - the best value is May 2023 at the Mayan Sea Garden- Nuevo Vallarta (RCI- 6867 )
4 TPU's + $189 would get a 1 bedroom / approx. 680 sq. feet- with daily housekeeping and towels.

SG - NV has approx. 200 units( one bedrooms & hotel units) ; and is down the beach from the big resort. It is 100 yds from an Oxxo convenience store
and within easy walking distance to restaurants in the NV marina area.

[We last stayed at the SG-NV in Feb. 2022 - before the 1 in xx rule was implemented]

This was through II if booked before 11/22/22 fee for studio 200.00 booked after 11/22/22 150.00. Crazy. I know all the other crazy rules Vidanta has. Used to be II didn’t have the 1 in 3 or whatever rule, but it looks like they are adopting it also. Decided against the The Grand Bliss even though AC bonus was only 329.00 we are spending a bit more and going up to Cancun from Playa to extend our trip.
