Vidanta East Cape.

Spent last week at the newly opened Estates at East Cape. It was awesome. Hardly anybody there and it's in the middle of nowhere- 2 of my favorite things for a vacation. The service and amenities were certainly up to Estates standards. And the "member update" was the expected beating. heh. They have a free shuttle to the Grand Mayan in San Jose del Cabo twice a week.

Did you wander over to Zac's bar ? It's been a while since we were in Zacatitos. I kind of thought the area would explode with the opening of the new Vidanta East Cape resort.

Hello! I’m very interested in the East Cape and this Vidanta. But I can’t find any information about it. Can anyone share any info? For example what are the prices and will they build units apart from the tower? Also I’m a big golfer so interested in when the golf course might open. I would greatly appreciate any assistance!

We walked down to Zac's a few time for an early dinner. The food and service were great. Solo efectivo, though. There's a little quickie mart near Zac's too.

They have a driving range/practice area open during the week. It's very nice with a great view and I was the only person there. They have the 18 hole course already designed by the Greg Norman group. They hope to have 9 holes open in a year. I'm not gonna hold my breath. The tower is going to be the only Estates property. But they're planning on building Emperor's Private Reserve units there as well as something else that I can't remember... I started losing interest when the sales pitch started...

Vidanta started pushing East Cape about 15 years ago. If they add to East Cape as fast as they have built what they have we should see all of it about 2050.
