Vallarta Palace is Points?

The online RCI directory lists Vallarta Palace as a Points resort. Yet Moon Palace is not. How does this effect my Palace membership? Can I transfer to a points account?
Actually, this makes sense to me as the Palace resorts are more of a hotel than a timeshare, but how does this change affect members?

I believe that Vallarta Palace (3544) is no longer actively selling RCI Points conversions. However, you may wish to ask if they will still offer them upon request. This is sometimes the case. To my knowledge, it would have no affect on your current ownership.
