VacationClix and Vidanta

Do renting bonus variation tru VacationClix in Mayan Palace RM is part of Vidanta 3 in 1 restriction with Sfx preffered?
In other words, did my stay in Mayan Palace RM last year booked like bonus week tru Vacation Clic preventing me to book Vidanata Grand Lux NV tru Sfx preffered next year?
Per Sfx rep, any renting in Mayan Palace Riviera Maya is not counting tovard Vidanta 3/1 restrictions. Correct?

Did you rent or did you exchange? Renting doesn't count as you are using the week from an owner.

I didn’t rent from other user. For stay at Mayan Palace RM I used bonus week offered tru Sfxpreffered (promotion to deposit week). Reservation is made tru VacationClix.
Now i want to make new reservations tru exchange reservation tru SFX.

Per your initial post, it seems that you bonus certificate was treated as a rental not an exchange? If it is treated as a rental that does not count to the 3/1 restrictions. Maybe others who are familiar with SFX can help or reach out to VacationClix to see how the reservation was handled.

Mayan Palace RM stay is not documented under my stays.

I would think it would work the same as booking a getaway and an exchange through II. Perhaps it doesn't? I don't know if the 3/1 rule applies to this type of situation in II.

I think Vidanta is ( basically) not restricting stays at Mayan Palace RM - because there are many MP
buildings / units at Vidanta RM

I have an RCI weeks account.
- MP RM lists the 1 in 3,rule and then lists exceptions allowed for " this resort".

However - an RCI stay at MP RM might prevent booking Grand Luxxe or Grand Bliss via RCI for rhe 1 in 3 period.
[ those brands do not list any exception time frames or higher resort fee work around's to exempt the 1 in 3 rule]

So Vidanta may have SFX following the same plan / rules.
