Vacation Candy will contact you through RW, if they have a renter, but if it's verified/ protected with RW, I doubt you will ever be contacted by VC.
There are some valid concerns people have about Vacation Candy and the way they do business. Anyone could set up a website for timeshare rentals and then broker a deal with an owner and make money as the middle man. When you think about it, really consider the way it's done, it tinkers on the border of sleazy/ brilliant. Depends upon your take.
Some might say that RW and go-koala.com are similar, but I choose to list on those sites and know my costs and my net. If a broker contacts me to book something, I usually take the deal, and why wouldn't I? I do always wonder what the broker is making on my rentals, but as long as I get my money, I am okay with it.
Genius business model, in my opinion. You don't personally have to own any timeshares to run such a service. It's basically simple. Advertise and then finding the right accommodations and date for your client.
