Yes, that change hit about six months ago and really nerfed the value.

I've never used it, but usually when something is too good it doesn't last. Or they use the good values to get you hooked, then up the requirements. Wyndham probably doesn't give them enough from the points to cover the actual costs they have to pay to the hosts.

This is a bummer... it use to be a really good deal. I am not surprised it was changed, though. Wyndham Rewards had already moved to 30K points for most of their hotels. It was really only a matter of time. It was nice for the few times I needed to use it.

I have a couple of questions for those that have used Vacasa, since the change. For 15,000, it says inclusive of all taxes and fees. So that means the price I was going to have to pay for a 6 night has to be $1500 or less, correct or are some of the fees listed not applicable for reward night stays? Where I am looking that means I need to find a place listed at $163 or less because the fees and taxes are about $87 per night.

Next question, what is the cancellation policy/penalty for Vacasa. With a regular hotel reward night I can cancel 24 hrs in advance of check in. I don't expect the Vacasa one is that generous.
