UVC 5 year deal I think this MAYYY be decent?!

Important to note: we’re Canadian so end of the day, Canadian dollar wise and in comparison to local travel deal (sun wing, Costco, air canada) is what we’re comparing to.

We are Mid 30s DINKS for life and flexible schedules. Flights are a non issue as we fly on points always.

Again, prices are in USD and we are 🇨🇦
1) 1 free week at their diamond resorts which is like secrets moxche, the new one on isla Mujeres, zoetry resorts etc.. Basically exactly what it costs through sunwing but you get the upgraded room levels to master suites.
2) 2 stays with no blackout dates
3)1 week at any of their resorts for ~$2500 CAD for 2 people *****ive been able to get another week since th RCI week is not of much use to us****
5) yatch club membership.. not sure what that is
6) $500 towards any cruise any line (which is great because I have a girls trip yet to book I can use this for)
7) 2 weeks / year with RCI for $300 usd (great for our Canadian trips or Europe rci annual fees only
Apply If we use it and he’s throw another week for $1900 USD because we likely won’t use but he has to include it )

5 year period and can either pay up front or half up front and monthly or payment for 2 years which is like 210 a month which is what we’re already putting away, we have it all up front ($7700 CAD) now regardless

In an unheard of move he let me take photos and gave me me 2 days to call him back so I said ok 😂😅

We believe the total cost covers the total costs of
Next luxury 2 vacations and greatly discounts the 3rd and fourth.

Are we crazy or decent deal?

1. At choices level you wouldn't even have access to master suites let alone be upgraded to one, sales speak (lies). Upgrades are based on availability and are only a 1 level upgrade, so your "free" week would be a tropical garden view. Best you would get is ocean "view".
2. Again at choices, there are indeed blackout dates, read the fine print
3. This is a VIP week, and it's $1900 US, however this is only good at what they consider to be 1:1 resorts. Most of the higher tier are 2:1, so therefore your VIP week will only get you 3 nights. Negotiate for more.
4. Yacht club is virtually worthless, IMO
5. This is lifestyles, which you can refer back to #4, virtually worthless and you can only use a portion of that $500 towards a cruise, not the entire amount.
6. Your RCI trading power will be fairly low however it does work if you know how to use it.

this is not a good value for your money, no.

Great to know on #3!
We didn’t end up going with it so I can go down the rabbit hole to bargain for a better option next time!

We didn’t end up doing it… need more research to bargain for the best deal. Salesman wouldn’t let us sign at the resort we were at and wanted us to take a cab back to theirs so we said yeah no sorry see ya! Haha

congrats!

For what its worth, I just bought a white pearl membership on ebay for a buck. You did the right thing here....

Anyone know a good resource for learning more about UVC? I have stayed at Secrets a couple of times and they have fabulous resorts! I would never ever buy developer prices of course. But is there a robust resale market for these things that would make sense? Just curious if there are any UVC experts out there?
